Confounded

Everyone is disappointing the more you know someone.

I do think that this phrase hold it’s facts firmly. Given enough time, anyone and everyone will betray your trust, stab you in the back or make you cry even if they do nothing – sometimes precisely because they do nothing. Perhaps once I assume that everyone will disappoint me eventually, I would stop being afraid. My complete lack of trust in people may just keep me happy. I suppose it’s a c’est la vie approach to a more sustainable and realistic angle to view life  with other human as a whole.

“You live you learn, you love you learn
You cry you learn, you lose you learn
You bleed you learn, you scream you learn”
-Alanis Morissette

I'm realistic, not cynical.

I'm realistic, not cynical.

No, not being cynical. Realistic.

In a space in between indignation and anticipation, where can one be doomed to wait in the name of fate ? I’m drowning in my solitude and elusive thoughts.

” Failures are more finely etched in our minds than triumphs, and success is an elusive, if not mythic, goal in our demanding society”  - Hugh Drummond.
