arbitrary in question

In life, many things are determined by impulse rather than logic. Some of these vital decisions are made unconsciously while others are exhaustively thoroughly thought through. They say growing up isn’t about the sum of mistakes you’ve made, it’s about the decisions you make after you’ve made a mistake. Then the error or fault resulting from defective judgment, deficient knowledge, or carelessness is still in concern then ?
I’ve learned that in life, sometimes it’s better to keep some of your feelings to yourself because not doing so entails all sorts of problems like people getting their feelings hurt, wars, boycotting, snubbing, sabotage, gossip, and many more. But to what extent shall we keep these feelings to ourself ? Must we cloaked all our words in vagueness in order to prevent these consequences ? Would we evetually be asphyxiated as a result of enormous feelings being confined within ourself ? I don’t know about others, but i believe that in practicing so, it would suppress the development, imagination, creativity, charisma, et cetera of a person. That person would eventually stifle everything that he or she is. Overcoming that is a difficult task once it sets in to become a habit. Can a person really be hemmed by rules and still be content ?
How do we differentiate what is determined by chance, whim, or impulse, and not by necessity, reason, or principle and vice versa ? Is everything based on or subject to individual judgment or preferences ? Hmm..
